Changes to the provincial government’s Small Business Recovery Grant program mean more businesses now qualify.
The program provides grants of up to $5000 to help small business owners cope with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It applied to businesses in zones that dealt with elevated Public Health measures for at least one week between October 10th last year and March 31st of this year.
With the changes announced yesterday – non-essential retail businesses are now eligible if they are in a zone that experienced a Lockdown. And tourism operators in all zones are now eligible for the grant.
