Greater Moncton area residents are being advised they can go about regular business today – but – do so with caution as RCMP continue to search for an armed suspect in connection with a shooting at the suburban Riverview High School yesterday.
One man was taken to hospital with injuries after being shot outside the school around 5:15 yesterday.
Late last night – RCMP issued an alert indicating 24-year old Jansen Bryan Baker was wanted in connection with the incident. Police said he had “firearms with the intent to use them.”
Baker is described as five feet ten inches tall (178 cm) and weighing approximately 145 pounds (66 kg). He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a black 2020 Hyundai Elantra with black tinted windows and NB plate JUN 296. If you spot Baker or have any information on him – police advise you call 9-1-1 immediately.
