Public Health is reporting 17-new cases of COVID confirmed in the province in the past 24-hours. The Moncton region is leading the way with 12-confirmed cases. Two are in the 19 and under age group – four in their twenties – two in their thirties – one in their forties – one in their fifties – one in their sixties – and one in their eighties.
Three new cases are reported in the Fredericton Central zone – one person in their twenties and two in their sixties. The remaining two new cases are in the Campbellton region – one in their twenties and one in their seventies.
There are now 22-active cases in the Moncton region and 21-cases in the Fredericton Central zone. The total number of active cases has jumped to 55. One person is in hospital in intensive care. Nine people have died from COVID complications since last March.
