Health Canada has given approval to a second COVID vaccine. The agency announced this morning it has cleared the Moderna vaccine to help in the battle against COVID-19. The vaccine is easier to transport and store requiring a temperature in the minus 20 range. The Pfizer vaccine requires special refrigeration capable of maintaining a temperature in the minus 70 to 80 range. Both must be given in two doses to be completely effective.
