(UPDATE – Common Council has approved the staff recommendation for the approval of the grants.)
A renewal of grants to groups serving the city’s five priority neighbourhoods goes before Common Council tonight. The groups include the Crescent Valley Resource Centre – Waterloo Village Neighbourhood Association – PULSE ( People United in the Lower South End) – and Around The Block free community newspaper.
The grants Council is being asked to approve total $152,000. You can view the City staff report on the grants here.
Tonight’s Council meeting is scheduled to start at 6 and will be conducted electronically.
