Chief Medical Officer of Health – Dr Jennifer Russell – says the number of COVID cases in both the Saint John and Fredericton River Valley regions has stabilized especially in “vulnerable” settings – and – all previously unlinked chains of transmission have been resolved so the two regions have been cleared to return to the Orange Level at 11:59 tomorrow night.

Meantime – Public Health is reporting 27-new COVID cases today – 19 of those cases in the Edmundston region which is currently in LOCKDOWN. Four of the cases are listed in the Moncton region – three cases in the Fredericton River Valley region – and one here in the Saint John region.

There are now 348-active cases in the province with 35 of those cases here in the Saint John region. The Edmundston region is reporting 160 of those cases while the Moncton area is dealing with 94 active cases. There are six people in hospital – three listed in intensive care.

The province is reporting 14-COVID related deaths since the pandemic began last March.
