It looks like it will cost you more to book a city owned tennis court or sports field.
Common Council is being asked to approve suggested increases ranging from $7 an hour for an adult tournament at city sports field to just under $7 an hour for the youth rate for a city arena floor to just under $6 an hour for adults booking tennis courts 1 – 5 at Shamrock Park.
The fee increases are designed to recover some of the costs involved in providing and maintaining the facilities which is part of the city’s long term financial plan. Common Council will deal with the recommendation at tomorrow night’s meeting.
