As part of the federal investment – Moltex has committed to creating and maintaining 48 full time jobs.

LeBlanc also announced 4.9 million dollar to help NB Power prepare the site at the Point Lepreau nuclear power plant for small modular reactor demonstration – and – almost 562 thousand dollars to help the University of New Brunswick’s Centre for Nuclear Energy Research expand capacity to support S-M-R technology in the province.
