Public Health is confirming another COVID related death this week. The person – in their eighties – was a resident of a long term care home in the Edmundston area.
The daily case count is down significantly from yesterday. There are just two new cases reported in the past 24 hours – one in the Moncton region and one in the Edmundston region.
There are 161 active cases in the province with 6 people in hospital – two in intensive care. With the death announced today – the COVID related death toll now stands at 22 since the pandemic began last March.
