Public Health is reporting another COVID related death today – a person over 90 in the Bathurst region. This brings the COVID death toll in the province to 43.
Meantime – 8 new cases have been confirmed since yesterday – one here in the Saint John region with that person out of province and the case deemed travel related.
Six new cases are reported in the Fredericton region – five of them are contacts of previously confirmed cases while the other is travel related. And there is one new case in the Edmundston region which is a contact of a previously confirmed case.
Public Health reports 12 people listed as recovered since yesterday with the number of active cases at 116 including 21 in the Saint John region. Eleven people are in hospital – 7 here in New Brunswick with 3 in intensive care while there are 4 people in hospital out of province with one in intensive care.
