COVID has claimed the life of another New Brunswicker. Public Health confirms a resident of an Edmundston nursing home in their 80’s has died of underlying complications including COVID-19.
Public Health is also reporting just one new case of COVID since yesterday – a person in their 50’s in the Edmundston region. The number of active cases in the province stands at 140 with 10 people recovering since yesterday. Six people are in hospital with two in intensive care. The death toll is now 23 since the pandemic was declared last March.
The Edmundston region remains at the RED Level while the rest of the province is at the Orange Level.
