As predicted – the COVID case continues to rise in the province. Public Health today reporting 24-new cases confirmed in the past 24-hours including two here in the Saint John region – a person in their twenties and one in their fifties.

One school and two more adult care facilities are reporting COVID cases in the Moncton region. Here at the Shannex complex in Millidgeville – three more employees have tested positive. So far now – 7-employees and 11-residents have tested positive in the latest outbreak. Nine deaths have been recorded since the pandemic began last March.

There are now 130-active cases in the province with one person in hospital in intensive care. Chief Medical Officer of Health – Dr Jennifer Russell – says the current situation is “the worst we have seen so far during this pandemic.”
