A temporary parking ban has been declared for tonight in the south central peninsula area. The ban will allow city crews to continue the clean-up in the wake of recent snowfalls.
The ban runs between 11 this evening and 7 tomorrow morning. Any vehicles left on the street will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense and risk.
There are six Parking Commission off-street lots available around the city centre at no charge overnight tonight. The Peel Plaza parking garage also offers a $5.00 overnight rate when parking bans are declared. More information on off-street parking options are available here.
