It is a messy drive home and less than desirable conditions to be on the roads tonight unless absolutely necessary. Light freezing drizzle is still falling at the time of writing – however – we are on the back side of the storm system.
Temperatures will begin to fall off tonight with northwest winds gusting to 40 km/h giving a “feels like” temperature in the minus 12 range overnight. That is going to leave a lot of ice encrusted snowbanks as well as slippery roads and streets. Make sure to give yourself extra time tomorrow to clear your vehicle and arrive at your destination safely.
