Another significant storm system is heading in our direction – and – it has prompted another “Special Weather Statement” for our region.

Periods of snow mixed with ice pellets will develop late tomorrow. The snow will change to rain with a period of ice pellets and chance of freezing rain during the transition. The rain will be heavy at times along the Fundy coast with 25 mm or more expected. The wind will be gusting up to 70 km/h here along the coast tomorrow night into Monday.

Add to this – higher than normal water levels and rough pounding surf are expected overnight and at high tide on Monday morning along the Fundy coast. The storm is expected to move out of the region by Monday afternoon.
