A quiet 24-hours in the province when it comes to confirmed COVID cases. Public Health reporting just one new case – a person in their thirties in the Fredericton Central region. The person is self-isolating and the case is under investigation.
The number of active cases in the province continues to decrease – we now have just 27-active cases with two people in hospital – one in intensive care. There is now just one active case listed in the Saint John region.
The total number of confirmed cases since the pandemic was declared in March stands at 596 with 560 recovering. There have been 8-COVID related deaths in the province.
