Public Health is reporting 15 new cases of COVID in the province today – 11 of them in the Fredericton region with 10 of them contacts of previously confirmed cases while the other is being investigated. The Moncton region is the centre of the other 4 cases today – one a contact of a previously confirmed case while the other 3 are under investigation.
Public Health also reports 9 people have been listed as recovered since yesterday and the number of active cases today is 134 including 17 in the Saint John region. Seven people are in hospital – six here in New Brunswick including 3 in intensive care. One person is in hospital in intensive care out of province. COVID has claimed 43 New Brunswickers since the beginning of the pandemic over a year ago.
