Voter information cards for the May 10th elections are being mailed out this week. Elections New Brunswick says more than 550,000 cards are being sent out except in the Edmundston – Madawaska area. Those cards won’t be sent until the Public Health LOCKDOWN is lifted.
Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth says “We strongly encourage electors to bring their cards with them to the polling station as this allows for faster service and reduces the likelihood of big lineups, which we want to prevent as much as possible during COVID-19.”
If you don’t receive a card for some reason – don’t worry. When you go to vote – you will be directed to a specific agent at each polling station who will verify the voters list and add or modify the person’s information if required.
