Two new cases of COVID have been confirmed in the past 24-hours – a person in their sixties in the Moncton region and one in their twenties in the Miramichi area. Public Health says both cases are travel related and they are self-isolating.
The number of active cases in the province has actually dropped to 38 with one person remaining in hospital in intensive care. Eight deaths related to COVID have been reported in the province since the pandemic was declared in March.
