UPDATE
Saint John Transit will resume Sunday bus service beginning this Sunday. The announcement was made during tonight’s council meeting. Mayor Don Darling tweeted a thank you to t he Transit and Parking Commission “for working through these difficult times” and news the service will resume this Sunday.
Saint John – Rothesay MP Wayne Long tweeted tonight he has been lobbying to ensure the transit service received federal Safe Restart funding needed to be able to restore services cut since July due to the pandemic. He says that fight paid off with funds flowing to allow resumption of the Sunday service.
Meantime – a reminder there will be no bus service on Wednesday – Remembrance Day.
