Public Health reports 6 new cases of COVID confirmed in the province today. One case is in the Saint John region and is a contact of a previously confirmed case.

Three cases are in the Moncton region and all are under investigation. And two cases are in the Fredericton River Valley region with one case travel related and the other under investigation.

Six people are listed as recovered since yesterday with the number of active cases at 141 including 23 in the Saint John region. Ten people are in hospital – three in hospitals outside the province – seven here in New Brunswick including two in intensive care. The COVID death toll remains at 41.

Meantime – Public Health reports a positive case of COVID-19 was confirmed at Kennebecasis Valley High School yesterday. Students scheduled to return to school on Tuesday and should do so unless they have been contacted by Public Health. If you do not hear from Public Health – you have not been identified as a close contact.
