RCMP say they now consider the search for a missing Grand Manan man to be a recovery effort.
41-year old Tommy Lundie was last seen Thursday night at the end of the Red Point Road on the island.
The Mounties say a number of agencies and volunteers have been involved in the search for Lundie – but – they have failed to turn up anything. Police say information they have gathered is leading them to believe he “could be in the water.” So they say without further information or leads on a more exact location – they are scaling back the search.
