Kennebecasis Regional Police say a 22 year old man is facing charges after a shooting in an apartment building in Rothesay.
A resident in a Sierra Avenue apartment building called police on Saturday after hearing a gun shot and discovering a bullet came through his child’s bedroom floor. The bullet struck the crib where a 20 month old child was sleeping. The child wasn’t injured but the crib and room were damaged.
Kennebecasis Police secured the scene and arrested the suspect. They came back armed with a search warrant and seized a gun and ammunition. The suspect is facing several firearms related and criminal negligence charges. He has a date with a judge on July 20th.
