It is Christmas Day – but – the weather forecast is reading more like a summer day. A Rainfall Warning has been issued for the greater Saint John area. Environment Canada’s forecast says we will see showers today becoming rain at times heavy tonight into tomorrow. Between 30 and 60-mm of rain can be expected with the possibility of the rain changing to snow tomorrow afternoon before the system moves out of our area.

Wind will be a major factor in this storm system – we can expect gusts up to 90km/h along the Fundy coast. Temperatures today are forecast to be in the low teens and around 7 tomorrow. Sunshine returns on Sunday with a high near 2.
