The price of milk is about to take a sharp increase. The NB Farm Products Commission has announced the price will jump by six cents per litre on February 01st.

The Commission says the increase to help dairy farmers offset increased production costs – and – will also cover increased costs for dairy processors.

Pricing under the School Milk Program remains unchanged for the current school year. The Commission says dairy producers and processors contribute about $800,000 a year to the program.
