The City is seeking Expressions of Interest to transform the former Cherry Brook Zoo property with “a new vision/business opportunity” for the 30 acre site on the edge of Rockwood Park.
The proposal call says the site has great potential for outdoor recreational activities and the City wants to see any development supporting amenities already available in Rockwood Park including the trail system in place. The City is seeking “experienced” business owners/entrepreneurs interested in a long term lease with the right vision and financial capacity to operate “independently of support from the City.”
