Public Health reports 11 new cases of COVID confirmed since yesterday. One of the cases is here in the Saint John region and is under investigation. Two cases are in the Moncton region – one is a contact of a previously confirmed case while the other is under investigation. In the Fredericton River Valley region there are 4 new cases – two are contacts of a previously confirmed case – one is travel related – and the other is under investigation. And there are 4 cases in the Bathurst region – two are travel related and 2 are under investigation.
Public Health says 8 people are listed as recovered since yesterday and the number of active cases is 116. Seven people are in hospital in New Brunswick including 2 in intensive care while 4 people are in hospital out of province. The COVID death toll remains at 41.
