Public Health is reporting 9 new COVID cases including one here in the Saint John region which is under investigation. The Moncton region has 5 cases with 4 being contacts of previous cases while the other is under investigation.
Two cases are reported in the Fredericton region with both contacts of previously confirmed cases. There is one new case in the Miramichi region which is a contact of a previously confirmed case.
Public Health also reports 9 people listed as recovered since yesterday and the number of active cases is 143 including 15 in the Saint John region. Seven people are in hospital – six in New Brunswick including 2 in intensive care while one is in an intensive care unit out of province. Forty-three people have died as a result of COVID.
