Governor General Julie Payette has announced a new list of Canadians appointed to the Order of Canada to round out 2020 – however – no New Brunswickers are included. A majority of the 61-appointments are people in Quebec and Ontario. Two people from Nova Scotia and one each from Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland/Labrador are among the recipients.

The award recognizes “outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation.” The list of those being honoured can be found here.
