Ottawa says it has received and distributed over half a million doses of COVID vaccines so far. Procurement Minister Anita Anand says deliveries are continuing weekly and approximately 1.3-million doses will be in the country by the end of the month. Anand says that number will double by the end of February.
A third vaccine from AstraZeneca is currently under review and awaiting approval by Health Canada.
As of Thursday – New Brunswick has received 11,175-doses of vaccine – 8775-does of the Pfizer vaccine and 2400-doses of the Moderna vaccine.
