The Edmundston region will roll back to the Orange Level from the RED Level at midnight tonight. The decision was made after a stabilization in the number of daily cases – no new unlinked chains of transmission – and adequate staffing levels for the health care system in the area. The move brings the entire province under the Orange Level of recovery.

Meantime – four new cases of COVID have been confirmed since yesterday – all in the Edmundston region. Public Health reports 11 people have recovered since yesterday and the number of active cases is now 111. Five people are in hospital – one of them in intensive care. COVID related deaths stand at 24.
