Public Health is confirming 21-new cases of COVID in the past 24-hours with the Fredericton Central leading the way with 7-new cases while the Edmundston region comes in second with 6-new cases while the Moncton and Campbellton regions reporting four new cases each. One person has been admitted to hospital.

The number of active cases now sits 204 – the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic last March. There are currently 37-active cases in the Saint John region. More than 1700-people are currently in self-isolation after coming into contact with a confirmed case of COVID while 85-healthcare workers are self-isolating for COVID related reasons.

We have now recorded a total of 800-cases of COVID since the beginning of the pandemic with 586-people recovering. Nine people have died due to COVID complications since last March.
