Another day of double digit increases in the number of confirmed cases of COVID in the province. Public Health reports 23-new cases in the past 24-hours including two here in the Saint John region.
There are now 246-active cases in New Brunswick – including 44-active cases in our region. Three people in hospital. The virus has claimed the lives of 12-people since the pandemic was declared last March.
Chief Medial Officer of Health – Dr Jennifer Russell – says there are just over two thousand people self-isolating at the moment. And Russell says we may still experience a surge in the number of hospitalizations and deaths given the number in isolation.
