It seems there are some who feel barricades aren’t meant for them or they are entitled. However – city police have a different perspective – barricades are blocking some streets and roads in areas of the city hit by flooding after yesterday’s heavy rainfall to keep people safe and protect homes and businesses from further damage.
And by early this afternoon – police have handed out tickets to 16-people for moving or driving around barricades. Police say they will continue to pay close attention to areas where barricades are in place and will keep writing tickets as necessary.
