A 90-year old resident of Shannex Parkland in Millidgeville says she”was never scared” after testing positive for the COVID virus. Garda Bishop says staff in the temporary isolation area made her feel safe and comfortable – “they even keep me company while I enjoy my cup of tea at night.”
Bishop says she is happy to have recovered and “I feel as good now as I was feeling before getting the virus.” She says she can’t wait to see her family again – “just in time for the holidays.”
