Public Health is now offering COVID-19 testing for any one who may have been in a Public Exposure area. The testing will be provided even if they are not experiencing any symptoms.
The COVID variants are highly contagious and this is another way Public Health can try to stay on top of any potential for an outbreak. This latest move comes after a recently announced change encouraging those with even one symptom to arrange for a test. You can request a test online or by calling Tele-Care 8-1-1 to get an appointment at the nearest screening centre.
Yesterday 1355 tests were conducted bringing the total of tests during the pandemic to 274,548.
