Saint John Police continue to secure the scene around an apartment house and yard area on Victoria Street.
In a brief news release yesterday – police confirmed only that a body was discovered “on Victoria Street” late Tuesday afternoon. The release did not indicate if the person was male or female. It did say an autopsy would be conducted – but – gave no indication if criminal activity is suspected. However – the ongoing security of the scene suggests police are treating this as more than a death by natural cause case. The body was apparently removed from the home early in the evening yesterday.
