Retired as Director of News and Public Affairs for Acadia Broadcasting Limited in December of 2015. During a career spanning almost 35 years he covered a wide range of stories at the local – provincial – regional – and national levels. In April of 2016 – received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Radio – Television – Digital News Association of Canada for contributions to broadcast journalism.
